As mentioned on MoneyBuilder.com, there are “secrets” to getting positive results with credit card disputes. But of course, one of the easiest ways to do so is with patience and a respectful attitude.

As far some of the other tips, the first to-do is to reach out to the the merchant company, not your credit card issuer to negotiate a resolution. The merchant may make an exception out of graciousness alone, if not out of legal responsibility. Then, if needed you can approach your credit card company. Just make sure you’re in-the-know about the credit card laws and your rights as a consumer for instances such charges with incorrect dates or for goods not received.
